West Racine is a traditional neighborhood, with single-family and two-family residences. There are 32 diverse commercial locations, primarily on the east end of Washington Avenue and West Boulevard. Churches, a fire station, a school, and small parks are also part of West Racine.
In 2006, the West Racine Business Improvement District was created with a first-year operating plan developed by Racine County Economic Development Corporation. The objective of the District is to preserve and improve economic conditions by facilitating and implementing development projects in West Racine. The City of Racine is committed to helping the District promote its development and intends to play a significant role in supporting development.
Our Mission
